Brought up in a musical family, Gaëlle-Anne started the violin at the age of three. She studied in Paris, Geneva and London, where she lives now and enjoys a busy freelance career.
Her musical journey brings her to play in various ensembles and settings ; she regularly leads the 2nd violin section in Welsh National Opera (Cardiff), Royal Northern Sinfonia (Newcastle), and occasionally plays with English Chamber Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, and Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
A keen chamber music player, Gaëlle-Anne forms a piano trio with her two sisters (the Michel trio, based in France).
Amongst other interests, Gaëlle-Anne also loves to read and write. She studied theatre, singing and ballet, and enjoys taking part in cross-disciplinary projects, where music meets on stage acting performance.
